BP Batam and PT Galang Bumi Industri Sign Agreement to Speed Up Wiraraja GESEIP
BP Batam and PT Galang Bumi Industri signed an agreement to speed up the Wiraraja GESEIP park on Galang Island. The Tynergy Group plans its plants there.

On 28 October 2026, BP Batam and PT Galang Bumi Industri signed a memorandum of agreement. It covers how the Wiraraja GESEIP park on Galang Island, Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia, is built, developed and managed. Wiraraja GESEIP is a National Strategic Project of the Government of Indonesia.
Amsakar Achmad, Head of BP Batam, and Akhmad Ma’ruf Maulana, President Director of PT Galang Bumi Industri, signed the agreement at the BP Batam Marketing Center.
“Batam has the direct attention of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to improve business licensing services. With this memorandum of agreement, let us build a shared commitment to speed up the process.”
Amsakar Achmad also said that he hopes the foreign investors that Wiraraja Group brings to Batam become strategic partners of BP Batam.
Why it matters for the Tynergy Group
The Tynergy Group plans its plants in the Wiraraja GESEIP park. The park’s consortium includes Tynergy Technology Group, PT Essence Global Indonesia, PT Energy Tech Indonesia, PT Quantum Luminous Indonesia and PT Terra Mineral Nusantara. The park will focus on silica sand processing and semiconductor manufacturing, with its own power generation and water supply.
What happens next
- BP Batam and Wiraraja Group will write a business plan for the first phase of the park.
- BP Batam will speed up the permits for the park’s basic infrastructure.
- PT Galang Bumi Industri will build the access roads and hand them over to BP Batam.
According to PT Galang Bumi Industri, land preparation is planned to start in January 2027.
A week of progress in Batam
The agreement was signed on the same day as the groundbreaking at Wiraraja Industrial Park in Kabil. One day later, PT Tynergy Technology Group and Wiraraja Group signed a battery industry agreement in Jakarta.
