Tynergy and Wiraraja Sign Battery Industry Agreement in Jakarta
PT Tynergy Technology Group and Wiraraja Group signed a battery manufacturing agreement in Jakarta. Minister of Industry Muhammad Sarmuji witnessed the signing.

On 29 October 2026, PT Tynergy Technology Group and Wiraraja Group signed a cooperation agreement in Jakarta. Muhammad Sarmuji, Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, witnessed the signing. The agreement covers battery manufacturing at Wiraraja Industrial Park I in Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia.
The signing came one day after the groundbreaking at Wiraraja Industrial Park in Kabil. Both events follow the agreements signed in Washington, DC, on 18 February 2026. President Prabowo Subianto witnessed those signings.
Batteries for vehicles, data centres and renewable energy
The batteries are for electric vehicles, for data centres, and for energy storage at renewable power plants, including solar. Muhammad Sarmuji said that the investment deepens the structure of Indonesian industry and strengthens the national battery ecosystem.
“Today we witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between an Indonesian company, represented by Wiraraja Group, and a company from the United States, to make a product that is very important for Indonesia.”
The Ministry of Industry said that it will support the project, and that it will help to resolve any obstacles that the companies meet.
The first stage of an energy technology industry
Yan Purba, President Director of PT Tynergy Technology Group, said that the agreement is the first stage in building an energy technology industry in Indonesia. The work brings Tynergy together with its partners, including PT Essence Global Indonesia and PT Energy Tech Indonesia.
Akhmad Ma’ruf Maulana, President Director of PT Wiraraja Bintang Persada of Wiraraja Group, said that the plant is in the final stage of construction. He said that the company plans to invite the Minister of Industry to visit it.
